What is showing agent coverage?

Showing agent coverage means hiring a licensed real estate agent to conduct property showings or open houses on your behalf. ShowingNow connects real estate agents with licensed showing agents who can cover their appointments in under 5 minutes, allowing agents to focus on closing deals without losing showings due to scheduling conflicts.

How does a showing agent get paid?

On ShowingNow, showing agents are paid per showing or open house they complete. Agents receive weekly payouts directly through the platform. The requesting agent sets the rate when submitting their coverage request, and showing agents can accept or counter the offer. There are no commission splits — it is a flat per-gig payment.

How fast can I get a showing agent?

Most ShowingNow coverage requests are filled in under 5 minutes. Once you submit a request with the property address, event type, and rate, it goes out instantly to all licensed agents in the area who are available.

Can I just be a showing agent without requesting coverage?

Yes. ShowingNow has two modes: Requesting Agent (you need someone to cover your showings) and Showing Agent (you earn money covering showings for other agents). You can sign up purely as a showing agent, set your coverage area, and start picking up gigs on your own schedule.

What does a showing agent do?

A showing agent is a licensed real estate agent who conducts property showings or open houses on behalf of the listing or buyers agent. They greet clients, walk through the property, answer basic questions, and provide feedback to the requesting agent afterward. On ShowingNow, all showing agents are verified licensed agents.

Can I use ShowingNow for open houses, not just showings?

Yes. ShowingNow supports both individual property showings and open houses. When submitting a request, simply select Open House as your event type. You can specify your preferred agent, set your rate, and have a licensed agent confirmed for your open house in minutes.

How much does showing agent coverage cost?

ShowingNow uses regionally optimized rates for showing coverage. Requesting agents can use the suggested rate for their market or set their own rate. There is no monthly subscription fee — you only pay when a showing is completed.
